The following are testimonials given by my clients relating to all areas of the business:

Jo Andreae was recommended to Westminster School by Maxx Design. We employed her to take photographs for our new prospectus. Apart from the excellent quality of her photography, what impressed us was her efficiency, flexibility and relaxed friendly approach.

In 2002, I approached Jo Andreae to assist in a project for London City Airport. We were looking for a photographer whose work would complement existing paintings of London landmarks, whilst at the same time provide a contrast. The result was a suite of photographs which we carefully selected from her portfolio of prints, taken from around the world over a six-year period.

Jo’s stylish pictures, identifiable yet abstracted, were hung in the lounges at the London City Airport Jet Centre and proved to be so popular that more were purchased in 2006.

We have been working closely with Jo now for the last three years and I found everything she has done to be excellent.

She captures the working of the Urology Department at the Battle hospital before it was transferred to its new location at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. We wanted patients and staff to remember the many years of happy times at Battle hospital aand her creative eye has captures some wonderful images. Patients have remarked on the quality of the work and the great photography. There are now about 75 framed enlargements in the ward, outpatients and administrative offices for all to enjoy.

I found her to be both professional and businesslike and a pleasure to work with.

- Mr Steve Foley MBBS FRCS(Urol), Royal Berkshire Hospital

A joint group set up to promote the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane, which included Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Basingstoke Town Centre Management and Festival Place started a project to create a library of positive images of the area. This was to be used in marketing campaigns to enhance the borough’s reputation and change perceptions. Having heard about Jo’s work we approached her to take ‘positive image’ photographs of the borough, starting with photographing Basingstoke town centre from a contemporary perspective. Jo’s love of architecture and her contemporary style of photography meant she was ideal for the commission. In two days’ commissioned photography she capture Basingstoke in all its glory. Many of the images were of familiar places but from a different angle that made us see the town from a new perspective. The images are being used in many publications, inward investment and marketing campaigns and we are talking with local companies about using the images for their promotion.

As a result of this initial work, we have asked Jo to take more images of the surrounding villages and countryside in the different seasons.

- Sara Shepherd, Senior Corporate Communications Office, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council

Jo has been the photographer for the annual Newbury Spring Festival for the last eight years, capturing the spirit of the events and the people in her own fresh and unique style. Also she is very professional to work with, often meeting tight deadlines. Each year she is given a different brief, to bring out a new aspect of the Festival and the images always reflect this well. Her photos are loved by the Friends and regulars of the Festival, so much so that we are putting on a small exhibition of her work this year in the centre of Newbury.

We had been wondering for 18 months what to put on the massive bare end-gable wall to fill the space and to make it altogether more interesting. Planning constraints in our barn forbade the ideal solution - a large window with a view across the Norfolk countryside, so we had to come up with an alternative.

We considered tapestries, paintings, murals etc but were keen that it should be interesting, locally relevant and still restful. Above all it should not be considered drab or boring after a few years.

When we saw Jo’s exhibition locally we knew we had hit upon someone talented enough and with a suitably creative eye to help us with our dilemma. Several of her photos looked as if enlarged, they might look good on our wall. After a couple of visits to the house, Jo took photos of the problem space and, using her artistic eye and clever software, created a mock up of how it might look. We chose a triptych type option with the image divided into 3 one metre square pictures.
A few weeks later the amazing art work was hung and looks fantastic. All our friends comment immediately upon entering the room on our wonderful ‘window on the world’. Comments have ranged from ‘wow’ through to ‘stunning, who on earth did that?’ Its even better than the real view!!

Jo has run four Hands on Workshops for Open Studios. Participating artists are invited not just on the quality of their own work but also because of their ability to teach effectively.

The first two workshops were aimed to extend the students' looking and to develop their skills in assessing own pictures. The latest two explored how the technique of photomontage might be used to create images that presented specific locations in unusual and thought-provoking ways. Both of these workshops produced some remarkable images: Newbury Racecourse invited the students to put on a small exhibition for the benefit of race-goers and the Newbury Lock image is on permanent display in Newbury Central Library.

Jo communicates her enthusiasm for photography well and is very generous with her skills and experience. Her workshops are well organised and feedback from the students has been very positive.

I am writing to thank you personally and on behalf of the Trustees and Chief Executive of the school, not only for taking the photographs of the guests last Wednesday but also for doing so in such a considerate way, that many commented on how charming you were. Thank you for helping us to create a very special day.

I have worked with Jo over the past four years on many projects. We hold courses for 14-16 year olds who have been or are close to being excluded from full-time education. Jo and I have worked together using her photography skills to try to re-engage these students and to keep them focused.

The days that have been spent with Jo have been a great success and I would say that 90% of the students involved walked away from the day with a greater knowledge of photography and some very useful tips on how to produce some great pictures. The schools have also given some very useful positive feedback on how the students have admired Jo's work and have wanted to attend more workshops.

Jo has shown a very caring approach to all people she has been in contact with regardless of age, race, gender or disability. I have no hesitation to continue working with Jo.

We have been working with Jo for some time and have always found her helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of photography is excellent, and we have reordered her cards on a number of occasions. Delivery times are good. Jo’s cards and images are popular because they bring a different perspective to tired subjects. Jo has successfully run two photography courses from our shop. We have a very good working relationship.

It's rare to find someone with such creative flair and yet a real understanding of business. We've been impressed with both Jo's work and professionalism - she always delivers and we continue to use her on a diverse range of projects.
